TEACHING COLORS OF THE WORLD: Website

My teaching website was particularly hard for me only because I am a particular person. I really enjoyed thinking ahead to what my class may want on the site and I know that I could spend hours tweaking here and there to make improvements. The basis of my website is obviously art, but I want to make it more and more user friendly for both parents and students and possible other students. It is hard to gather information about all the local art stores, on goings, events in school, and assignments. So like google, I want to be a one stop shop for all their art needs.

Art has a hard time translating information through out the schools. If I promote my website from day one, then I can have some parents looking at student works in class and participating in more art school events, and art community events.

There are some options I have not tried on the website. It is mostly user friendly, however, where I want to put my pictures or the choice of font styles is lacking. I do keep in mind that it is a FREE site and the options may be limited but still vast.

This project is easily 4.5 stars out of five, because I have always wanted a website and it is exciting that now I know how to set one up and use in my classroom.

I hope you enjoy my website
